You further agree that you assume all responsibility associated with your actions and that VacationBird.com will not be held liable for any damages direct, indirect, punitive or otherwise. We also reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice and it is your sole responsibility to review terms frequently. Our Services

VacationBird.com offers the convenience of listing your property with exposure to search and direct traffic from all over the web. During our beta stage we are proud to present you with free listings. This means that while our beta badge is up you are welcome to create as many listings as you'd like for free, at no charge whatsoever. Note: you will not be able to take advantage of the extra features such as "featured" , "highlighted" or "front page" through our free offer. Customers who join us during the beta stage are free for life, no matter how many listings you decide to add or how long you wish to stay with us. If you have 100 properties under management you're welcome to list all 100 at no cost, unless you are upgrading to use our extra options (featured, highlighted, front page exposure). To stay within the guidelines, all free for life customers must use the same account with which they registered during the promotional period. You must have created actual, real listings with us during the beta stage in order to continue receiving this benefit. Here is a quick recap of the beta offer:

Free Listings

Free listing sign-up active during beta stage only. Unlimited listings for unlimited amount of time even after the promotion is over for the entire duration of original company ownership. This offer does not apply to featured, highlighted or homepage featured optional packages. Enjoy the same benefits as the Monthly package but without any fees!

Paid Listings

Upon the end of beta stage the following conditions apply: by listing with us you are paying for our advertising services. Property owners: You can choose between three (3) different options. Each option adds additional value by discounting the monthly fee as described below:

1. Monthly option: Creates a subscription for $29 dollars USD per month until terminated by the subscriber.

2. Seasonal option (3 months): Creates a 3-months subscription for $65 dollars USD per 3-months period until terminated by the subscriber. This option saves 25% if going the monthly route and reduces monthly payment to roughly $21.66

3. Yearly option: Creates a subscription for $233 dollars USD per year until terminated by the subscriber. This option saves 33% if going the monthly route and reduces monthly payments to roughly $19.40

Users may also select extra features to help boost their listing's exposure. All features are billed as an additional monthly subscription until terminated by the subscriber:

  • Highlight ($9 per month) - highlights your listing with a different color to stand out from the crowd
  • Featured ($25 per month, limit 10 spots total) - places your listing in the top 10 positions on the first page of results. Very helpful when a particular area has hundreds of listings.
  • Home page ($99 per month, limit 6 spots total) - features your listing on our home page for maximum exposure.

Every package comes standard with tips and advice from our staff. There are no fees for all other users of VacationBird.com. Users may browse, leave reviews and create accounts for free.

Transaction Responsibility

VacationBird.com is not a party that is in any way involved in transaction between the renters and property owners. It is up to the individual parties involved in the transaction to verify any details in regards to accuracy, legality and ability to pay and receive payments. You take full responsibility and assume liability for any information you find and use on VacationBird.com. Property owners are the ones responsible for accuracy of their listing and are the parties to be held accountable in misleading or fraudulent attempts.

Do your own research. VacationBird.com is not responsible or guarantees the validity of any information pertaining to any listing found on our website. We cannot vouch for the owner's character, accuracy of their listing or intention of their transaction. Please, do your own research to determine the accuracy and validity of any information or claims found on Vacationbird.com listings.

Notice to Owners

You are responsible for validating any qualification of renters. VacationBird.com is not responsible for renters of your property or any consequence resulting upon your failure to properly screen the renter. It is your responsibility to do your own screening of renters and to make judgments of character. We strongly advise that you put your own terms and conditions in writing.

Notice to all Users

VacationBird.com may contain links to website operated by third parties other than VacationBird.com. VacationBird.com has no control or responsibility whatsoever for the nature of content associated with such links as they are listed for reference purposes only. VacationBird.com does not endorse or imply any association with third party website operators and has the right to remove or disallow links at their discretion.

Uses of Site

Any suspected fraudulent behavior on behalf of Owners gives VacationBird.com the authority to remove or suspend the listings involved without prior notice.

Identity Verification

You are encouraged to keep your User ID and Password safeguarded at all times. If for some reason you are unable to access your account, you may contact VacationBird.com and retrieve your account information upon valid identification. If your account is suspected of being used by a third party other than yourself for inappropriate uses such as spam or fraud, VacationBird.com may terminate or freeze your listing and any further activity without any refunds. You are strongly encouraged to notify VacationBird.com if you suspect your account is being misused by someone who has access to your information.

Payments

All payments on VacationBird.com are done through PayPal. The PayPal API allows for credit card authorization and direct account payments.

Subscriptions

You understand and agree that all monthly subscription fees are recurring and automatic, withdrawn once every month until canceled. It is your sole responsibility to cancel the monthly features for which a subscription is created. Similar is true for yearly subscriptions, be advised that subscriptions are auto-recurring and that you should cancel within an appropriate amount of time before the period for which you have signed up has ended.

Refund Policy

VacationBird.com is a firm believer in honest business; this is why we have created the 100% money back guarantee. In order to qualify for the 100% refund, your listing must receive zero (0) inquiries for the entire year and meet ALL of the below conditions. VacationBird.com has the ability to view how many times you have been contacted, which will be used to verify your refund claim. You DO NOT qualify for 100% refund if you have had at least one (1) inquiry due to the fact that we cannot verify what business goes on between contacting parties and their claim of lack of such business. If you wish to adhere to the refund policy and take advantage of the 100% money back guarantee, you MUST contact customer support within seven (7) day period following the end of the subscription period for which you signed up.

What 100% refund implies: the BASE listing fee for the subscription period EXCLUDING any additional features such as highlighed, featured or home page.

Other conditions for full refund:

  • Your listing must have at least six (6) photos of good quality for the entire length of the year in which it was listed;
  • Your property must have been made available for rent at least half the period for which you have created a subscription and rental rates must have been displayed on the listing during at least half the subscription period in advance of the dates during which property was available;
  • The property may not have been sold during the subscription period or the first renewal, as applicable;
  • Your listing's calendar must have been updated at least once throughout your subscription period.

VacationBird.com is created by honest people for honest people. If you are somehow suspected in being involved in any illegal or inappropriate activity pertaining to listing of or inquiry of rental properties or any aspects, whether listed or not above, VacationBird.com will take appropriate action - legal or otherwise.
